The girl laughed as she edged closer to Harris. She cuddled in his strong arms. Harris looked at the girl intently.
So that’s why he was gone. He has a new girl.
Pang. Why am I hurt? Why does my heart aches this much?
Hey, Cassie, are you okay?
I-I gotta go.
Hey, Cassidy!
I budged out of the movie theatre. I didn’t care where I was going. I didn’t care where my legs would take me. I just have to get out of this place.
It was 11pm. Someone knocked on my door. I didn’t want to answer it.
“Hey, it’s Harris.”
Oh great. The last person I wanted to see right now.
Can you please open up? I want to talk to you.
I didn’t answer him.
Cassidy, please.
Go away.
Please, open the door.
I threw a pillow to the door. Why wouldn’t he stop? He had done enough.
Okay then. Sleep tight, Cassie.
I then heard his footsteps slowly fading away. What’s happening to me? Why am I mad? He didn’t do anything wrong, did he? I was the one to be blamed. It’s because I have fallen deeply in love with him.
