When I went down for breakfast, Ingrid and my Dad weren’t there anymore. They left for work. Good. I ate my cereals. Then I thought, “What happened to Harris?” It’s funny how we live in the same house yet I haven’t seen him for two days now. Hmmm, do I… miss him?
Have you seen Harris?
Maid: He left early today ma’am.
That’s funny. We have no class for this week. How come he already left?
Six forty-five. That was the time registered on my clock. I was already dressed up for the movie. I was on my usual outfit, wearing black tank top, cargo cropped pants and my pink chucks. My hair was pulled in a high ponytail and I wore a pink bangle to top it all off. I brought my skateboard with me and climbed towards my room window. I went down and moved along to our main gate. Outside, I found Galvin.
You’re early.
Whoa, what time did you arrive?
About six. I don’t want to be late you know.
I gotta laugh at that. Then, we skated our way to the movie house.
Inside, we settled for a chair. It was a bit uncomfortable going to the movies with Galvin for the first time. But, the whole period, it felt as if he were a long time friend.
At the middle part of the movie, a couple entered and sat on the chair before us. The guy looked familiar. Was it…?
It was Harris!
And what is he doing with this girl?
In the movies!
