Heaven's Special Delivery

This one was a called a “cinquain”, where you write about the other person.

Guess nyo kung sino tinutukoy ko dito.

Hehe. But, I have revealed it somewhere in the poem. =D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She gave the gift of life to me
And then in love she set me free
I thank her for her tender care
For deep warm hugs and for being there.
She filled my days with rainbow lights
Fairytales and sweet dream nights
A kiss to wipe away my tears
To ease and calm my numerous fears.
I call her my angel, with a precious heart
I cherished most, we would never be apart
She is full of kindness and love
Send by the heavens above.
My angel is so smart
She knows what’s good or bad, where to start?
Always showing me the right way
I know she’ll never lead me astray.
Happiness and melancholy to her I share
Whatever mood swings I have, she bears
She is so special and like no other
For my angel is my mother.
She has so many things to do
From washing, cleaning, to tying a shoe
She scrubs, she mends, she cooks and sews
She bathes my younger siblings and washes their clothes.
When we forget to wash our faces clean
Our clothes the muddiest you’ve ever seen
She repairs the clothes and scrubs them like new
No other can be greater; she deserves more than a thank you.
She becomes the doctor or the nurse when we were ill
Applying a bandage or giving us a pill
She becomes a teacher when we have no homework
She must never her duty shirk.
She becomes a detective to find a toy or a book
For missing things she must look and look
She becomes a listener to all heartache
To every achievement we fail to make.
She scolds us when we were naughty
And remind us of God when we were haughty
She tends over her family with love, and patience too
Of course that is what my mother can do.
She is super, sometimes leaving us confuse
For each battle she never lose
Whether it’s an office or house work
At the end of the day, she’ll finish it with a smirk.
She knows if there’s something wrong
She’ll ask me about it, and then sing me a song
Any accomplishment will make her proud
Like a sun appearing between two clouds.
I can never be more thankful that she’s my mom
In the midst of complexity she stays calm
I love her more than I can express
With a mother like her I feel so blessed.
No one could ever replaced a superhero like her
For my life would never go blur
She’s an angel who took care of me
A seraph whose name is Josie.
