This is it. It was the time.
I have never thought this day would come as fast as I have never imagined.
I don’t wanna say goodbye to my friends at all.
Seems like it was just yesterday that we were happily playing around the grounds of Sto. NiƱo SPED Center.
The picnic.
Strolling around Tacloban.
Borrowing books on Lee ann’s or net surfing.
Studying at the canteen.
Picture taking.
Hanging out at Nadz house.
Practicing for a dance presentation.
Reading magazines.
Creating stories.
Drawings.
Quarreling.
Misunderstandings.
Reconciliations.
Sharing each of our dreams.
And never endless talks.
CLICK BERKS is what we like to call it.
There was Nadine, the pretty one who never runs out of imaginative ideas. Next was Ria, the sweet mademoiselle whose infectious charm seems irresistible to the group. The Spongebob-loving-character Krissa who was gifted in arts follows the list. As well as Ezra, the intricate lass who treasured her friends the most. The consultant Anne who never fails to be a fantastic friend, sister, and a bestie who always looks for the clique. Lastly was me, Kathy, the girl-next-door who is outgoing and extroverted type.
We had lots of nicknames, Piper, Phoebe, Prue, Dina, Analie and Mia respectively. (Remember these guys?)
We had dreams and different goals in life.
We had various characteristics that make each of us a unique person but we hang out together inspite of our differences.
We love ourselves even though we vary.
Friendship was the greatest gift God has given us.
My thoughts vanished when I heard my name called. As I approach the stage to receive my certificate, I smiled to myself. I was wrong. It will not be the end of the CLICK BERKS, for wherever they will be, we will always remain as friends.
As I raised my diploma and bowed, I saw my friends’ jovial faces. It was confirmed. We will all be friends for all time.
